simple-y bliss

Popped off to the beautiful country of wales for the weekend and what a stunning place! the weather was so hot so my legs looking nice and pale in these photos are now transformed into bronzed pins. Anyway, i decided i'd get my little sis to take some photos of me in my fave spot. its not quiet and tranquil yet so open and airy, it's great. home for a week then back up next sunday!
This dress was sisters last year but its so light and comfy i've adopted it this year!

Hope you've all enjoyed the sun!!

bit of thrifting

bag - camden town market
skirt - charity shop
heels -charity shop but steve madden
top - fat face

hi guys! (that sounds so cheesy) i've had so much spare time and so little money so me and my friend went charity shop shopping and i pondered for ages over this skirt, i was planning on shortening it but i think i've grown to like it longer... what do you reckon?
Oh and i hate taking photos inside but i've had no other choice with the constant rain, so much for summer eh!
However i did get an hour of tennis in with my boyfriend and a quick bike ride this morning before the down pour started which was great. i hope you're all enjoying this wet july!

skirt n shirt

Blazer - H&M
Skirt - Topshop
Shirt - H&M
Loafers - New Look
Bag - Camden Town
Scarf - Warehouse

The 3 girls are some of my best friends, it was so good to go to Shrewsbury for a catch up after all our exams have finished, thank god! I don't particularly like this outfit on these photos, but i love this skirt. It was the result of the overwhelming experience of shopping in Oxford Streets Topshop, London.  And has served me well come rain (oh and haven't we had a lot of it) and shine. The photos were taken by my friend Hannah (the green trousered one) because she is hoping to do photography at college next year and wanted to get some practise in. But due to the cloudy sky, the photos didn't come out great. Still, it was a fab day!

Hope you're all well :)

Pretty busy weekend!

So friday, along with 70% of 16 year olds, i had my school prom. It was amazing fun and i loved every second of it! However, finding ym dress was a complete nightmare. I'm really not a fan of the big gypsy style dresses however i thought the girls who did wear them all looked beautiful! but for myself, i went for this teal evening gown from coast. It was so comfortable and served me well!
Hope if you had a prom, you all enjoyed yours!

Next is a little white dress i bought in the Zara sale on monday (zara sales are my dream) I have a college induction day coming up for the sixth form grammar school i'm attending next year. I fell in love with this simple little dress but it was a bit on the tight side which is never really my style. Unfortunately, I ended up returning it because the seam came undone!

So finally, this is my decided outfit for my college induction. I have been in love with this bag for weeks and then when i saw it in the river island sale (i'm quite a bargain hunter) at under half price, i didn't even question buying it! its so beautifully made and i'm already planning outfits with it!!
I also picked up these cute crocodile dolly shoes from dotty ps'.

Wish me luck for college tomorrow! Eeeek!

Have a great week, Katie x x x x x x x x
